We began in 1999 with a son and two daughters of Twin Creeks Luck of the Draw, from the first kid crop of this son of the eventual 2x AGS National Champion Twink’s Pixie. But driving to New York for that acquisition wasn’t enough, so we headed for Texas in early 2000 and brought home a son and three daughters from the first kid crop of Twin Creeks Bay Watch. However, after business commitments caused us to put the herd on the back burner for a few years, we wanted to strengthen our foundation.
We purchased Rosasharn TL Unforgettable Man (UFO) in 2006. Sired by TIGER, he was a son of UNI, the eventual indisputable Breed Leader for lifetime milk (if you count both her AGS records and then her ADGA records). We drove to Idaho a few years later to pick up his full brother UKULELE KIA, already the sire of the 2005 AGS National Show Best Udder. RED MAPLE, a double granddaughter of TOM THUMB, sire and grandsire of Breed Leaders and National Show Champions, came home with us too.
Then in late 2007 we were struck by the quality of the Promisedland animals. So we purchased two doelings, ZESTA and YENDA, that both milked a ton over long lactations and whose dams would both go on to make amazing Breed Leader level milk records.
With this foundation, we’re attempting to do something distinctive in the breed with a small herd, selectively linebred, and linear appraised to verify our progress.
Thank you for your interest in our animals. We will attempt to honestly answer any questions you have, help point you in the right direction, and provide foundation stock with a high probability of producing quality animals in your herd.
